The first week was an Orientation week
:Day 1
In the first week I have been working in the IT department, my supervisor was Hamad Al-Hammadi the Head Of E-Services. At the first day I meet my supervisor Hamad and he introduced me to Mohamed Ahmed Yousef, the manager of IT department. IT manager asked me number of questions about my studies and Specialist .As well, he told me that he will make sure that I will finish my work placement carrying a lot of experience and new knowledge. After that Hamad introduced me to one of his employees Shaikha Jasim Al Mazam an Intranet Administrator, she will be helping me during the work placement. Shaikha got me through their website and she showed me the SharePoint and the application that they are using. Also, she told me about the procedures and rules of the company. Moreover, Hamad ask the HR to register me to the system, also they provided a privet disk, computer and pass card. Later, Shaikha gives me a 2 lists that includes the employees info and compare them if they are the same or not.
:Day 2
On the second day, I meet Hamad and he gave me a plan lest of the things that I will be doing and learning during the work placemen, then he gave me a general information about the IT department. Later on, I met with Sheikha Ali Head Of Systems and she gave me an system session orientation, she spoke briefly about the system section duties, system section policies and procedures and the technologies that they are using in the sys sec. After the orientation, they gave me a document about the policies and procedures to translated from English to Arabic

:Day 3
During this day I were completing the translation, and later on I had another orientation with Sheikha Ali and she gave me an overall view about the business applications that they are using and the application integration. After that Shaikha Jasim sent me two folders of pictures, she wanted me to resize the pictures and add the company logo by using the Photoshop
:Day 4
This day was so interesting, first I learned how to upload the pictures to their website throw the SharePoint. Then I had an very interesting orientation session with the Head Of Tech. Support Ahmed Yaqoot, first he gave me idea about the technical support section duties. They have two section
Then he went through the policies and procedures, and he said “To reach the ideal we must have (people – technology – procedures). Then we went to the server room and he showed me all the machines and explain to me the uses of the machine and how its work.
:Day 5
I met with Khawla Abdulla the Helpdesk Administrator, she explain to me about the help deck
duties and she showed me the Magic program it’s a program with various feature. She showed me how can she receive the problem request and forward it to the right department. Also she showed me some of the open cases. Later on, I complete the session with Ahmad Yaqoot he explain to me the security administration duties. Under the security section there are the technical part and administrative part. After that, Shaikha Jasim sent to me a news document and I translated them from Arabic to English.
